Waltham Auto Tow Inc. shared Massachusetts State Police's post.
Massachusetts State Police Trooper Matthew F. Daigle passed away suddenly yesterday. Today, we continue to mourn the loss of a member of the Massachusetts State Police family, and to pray for Trooper Daigle and his loved ones. Trooper Daigle is seen here being pinned with his badge at his graduation from the State Police 80th Recruit Training Troop in October 2011, and in an photo during his service in the United States Air Force. Colonel Richard D. McKeon, superintendent of the Massachusetts State Police, sent the following message to Department members last night: To all members of the Massachusetts State Police family, It is with tremendous sadness that I must report to you the sudden death today of Trooper Matthew F. Daigle, assigned to Station H2, SP-Framingham. Trooper Daigle suffered a medical emergency while exercising. He was transported to Framingham Metrowest Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased. He was 31 years old. Trooper Daigle was highly-regarded and deeply respected by his brother and sister troopers, as well other members of the first-responder community who knew him. He was a member of the 80th Recruit Training Troop, and became a Massachusetts State Trooper upon his graduation in March 2012. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. I would like to express my gratitude to the Framingham Police officers, firefighters and ambulance personnel who responded to Trooper Daigle’s medical emergency, and to the emergency room staff at Framingham Metrowest Medical Center. All of them tried valiantly to save his life. I am also thankful to Trooper Daigle’s colleagues from the MSP who responded to the hospital to offer assistance and support. Most of all, our thoughts at this time, and our prayers, are with Trooper Daigle’s family. He is survived by his wife Christine, by his sister and his father, and by his in-laws. They will always be part of our MSP family. Details of funeral services will be announced in the coming days. -Col. Rick McKeon

Please make note that AFTER the parking ban is lifted, you will have 2 HOURS to remove cars from SCHOOL LOTS & 24 HOURS to remove cars from MUNICIPAL LOTS. 3/1/17- #firefighters and Police responded to Rt.117 in the area of Drumlin Farm, for an MVA. On arrival, an SUV was found off the road and partially down the embankment. Contact with the driver was made, but she was found to be entrapped due to the position, entangled fencing and instability of the vehicle. Firefighters rapidly secured the vehicle via chains and portable mechanical advantage. The driver was then quickly & safely extricated followed by transport to the hospital with minor injuries.
