Let's talk about 10 #Cancer fatigue-fighting tips.
The fatigue that comes with many forms of cancer treatment can leave you without energy to complete everyday activities, but there are ways to help...

Much of their work is done behind the scenes, which is why we want to give a big thanks for all the hard work our #laboratory teams put in each day. Our medical laboratorians help to save lives by accurately assisting with patient diagnosis by using their specialized set of skills.

The loss of an infant through miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death is a traumatic life event that leaves parents to face an intense grieving process. The caring staff at Henry Ford Allegiance Health is here to support mothers, fathers and families at a most painful and vulnerable time. Nurses from the Henry Ford Allegiance Perinatal Bereavement Program and the Labor and Delivery department reach out to parents in a number of ways that recognize the importance of the life lost. “Regardless of the age or size of the infant, we want to make sure she or he is treated with respect and dignity,” said Perinatal Bereavement Coordinator Joy Sterret, RN. “We encourage the family to hold their baby and create tangible memories with them.” Special services for parents include taking photographs of their baby, along with foot prints and foot molds. Parents are given personal memorial boxes, burial gowns handmade from donated wedding dresses, and hats and booties made by the Volunteers of Henry Ford Allegiance Health. Parents and siblings receive teddy bears in memory of their baby. Grief support is provided to the families at no cost. In 2015, Henry Ford Allegiance Health joined with the non-profit organization Angels Above Baby Gowns to sponsor a community-wide wedding dress drive. More than 215 wedding gowns were donated to the hospital in just four hours, making it the biggest drive Angels Above had participated in. From these donated dresses, more than 1,000 infant burial gowns were sewn.
