Bailey Voelker, Son of Darin and Jackie Voelker In third grade, the class of 2017 gained a new student named Bailey Voelker…..later to be known as BV to most of his friends. Bailey is truly a South Dakota boy at heart, where his interests include hunting, fishing and farming. Perhaps working on farm equipment is what got him interested in his future studies. Next fall, Bailey plans to head north and join the Diesel Technology program at Lake Area Tech in Watertown, SD. While working part time at T&R sanding, Bailey was also involved in Football, FFA and Track in high school. On the football field is where Bailey has earned recognition awards for outstanding lineman in the Championship football game, All State Lineman and All Conference. Bailey served as a varsity football Captain and got to make the call on the coin toss to start the championship football game! No wonder that Championship football win happens to be his favorite high school memory! “Bailey, we are so proud of the young man you have become. We are excited to see where your dreams take you and wish you the best of luck on your adventure! We love you and we’ll always be here for you!! Love, dad and mom. “ And thanks for being here, at T&R, Bailey! Best wishes to you and congrats on your accomplishments!

Walker Olivier, son of Doug Olivier and Mike and Sarah Bowen It’s pretty ironic that the kid who holds some of the fastest times in South Dakota’s Class B track standings has “walk” in his name. Don’t let this guy’s humbleness fool you, he is quite impressive on the track. Although Walker graduated on Saturday, his high school year will not be complete until he runs his last race at the South Dakota High School State Track Meet over Memorial Weekend. While in high school, Walker has worked part time in sanding and in the yard. Along with track, his high school activities include football, basketball, cross country, FBLA, FCCLA, FCA and FFA. Walker’s athleticism also showed up on the football field where he was voted MVP of the DVC conference and is a member on the All-State football team. Not to leave out basketball where Walker served as a Varsity Captain and was named to the DVC All Conference Second Team. Walker’s favorite high school memory was winning the State Class 9A Football Championship this year. Sarah says, “Walker is definitely one of a kind! I’m so proud of the caring, funny, talented young man he is today. I’m beyond blessed to call him my son, and can’t wait to see where life’s adventures take him in the future!” Walker plans to attend DSU in Madison, SD this fall. Thank you, Walker, for being a part of the T&R family! We look forward to seeing what college brings for you!

Tucker Hiller, son of Bill Hiller and Annie Hiller Tucker has been employed at T&R since the age of 16. He has worked in sanding and in the yard. His aspirations will take him to SDSU in the fall for his generals—in hopes of moving on to either USD or Arizona State to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Tucker has also thought of getting a Real Estate License. His high school days are behind him now, and he has so many memories, he can’t even decide what his favorite memory was! Now, isn’t that the way it should be!?! Annie says, “Tucker, I am very proud of you and know you have great things ahead of you!” We at T&R know it, too Tucker! Thank you for your dedication to T&R! Good Luck to you!

It was graduation weekend at CE High School and we would like to recognize the seniors who have held down part time jobs at T&R over the last couple of years. Graduating on Saturday were Tucker Hiller, Walker Olivier and Bailey Voelker. Congratulations to these guys and the rest of the graduating class of 2017!!
