REVIEW: So, I was scheduled to have two teeth extracted and a teeth cleaning two days ago. I was frightened! Terrified as I've Always been of the dentist. I pulled up into the parking lot 35 minutes before my scheduled time contemplating should I just reverse my car and speed off? I thought of every excuse to use, then was convicted because I'd then be lying, and I didn't want to do that. I got out of the car and something odd happened. I saw a caterpillar on its back with its legs dangling in the air. I took my car keys and flipped it over, and to my surprise..it crawled a bit, and flipped itself BACK on its back and I busted OUT laughing! I said, hey...maybe its scratching its back on the concrete. WHO KNOWS!? ...Anywhoo..I check in for my appt..the lady at the front was dressed so pretty and that distracted my fears for all but 10 seconds..She asked me to have a seat, and I asked her if I could please stand..I was too shaky to sit. A lovely lady named, Connie, came and took me into a room and she calmed my nerves a bit telling me about her testimony..HOW we got into that conversation, I haven't the slightest..But I needed to hear how she survived a crazy situation. Then, she looks at me and says, "You need a hug." She gave me the biggest Motherly hug! My Mom resides in Florida, and when she hugged me I envisioned it was my Mom. Then Amber came and got me. The 'walk' to that dentist room/chair was like walking the Green Mile. I felt as if I was being sentenced to dental death..it was long and dreary and when I sat in the chair my feet and hands couldn't stop shaking. Amber chatted with me, she made me laugh, she gave me a blanket because I was cold, but Really nervous. THEN he came in! Dr. Montecello. I felt the blood rush from my head to my toes..Although he's a very attractive young dr..I didn't care then..All I knew is that he was going to do construction in my mouth and his good looks vanished with every one of those thoughts. He calmed me down a bit and explained the procedure. He spoke very softly, but it didn't matter. HE was the one! The one that I feared the most! He left, then Amber put headphones on my ears with some chill tunes. She turned the lights low..and the mask went on my face..After a while I felt good...I felt like ALL my bills were paid, I had a promotion at work. I felt like Life was good. There was a window above I was looking out of..I saw the blue sky...it was all good. The Dr. came in, shot my mouth up with numbing meds..then this beautiful lady with red hair came in and started working on my cleaning..The light she stood under made her look angelic. Her voice sounded like Heaven. She was beautiful and didn't hurt my mouth and that's all I cared about. I really think it had something to do with her name being the same as my Mother's, Coleen. Then when she was done..The Dr. came in. He pulled the teeth out..drilled, sawed, tugged...but it was ALL good...I felt pressure, heard the sound of it all, but never ANY pain!!! I think I told him, I loved him...in a Professional way, of course. I RAVED about Midlothian Family Dentistry to my coworkers today!!! PLEASE, PLEASE WORLD..If you have a deep rooted fear of the dentist like I "did"..then GO HERE! They prepare you for the worst by giving you their Best care Ever!!! I never thought I'd say these words but, I'm looking Forward for my tooth filling in a couple months. THANK YOU TO THE STAFF AT MFD FOR EVERYTHING! Yes! I'm missing some teeth, but I'm elated I was treated like the baby I am when it comes to the dentist! And also treated with TLC <3. Kim~

Flossing while in the shower is great for people who use the excuse that they don't have time to do it regularly.
