Jeremiah B.W. Herring February 14, 1988 – September 24, 2017 Last Sunday morning after working our overnight shift Jay Herring passed away. The night before, Jay was collecting money to help with the funeral expenses for Junio his coworker who we lost two days earlier in a tragic motorcycle accident. We at RJT are all devastated from the recent turn of events last weekend. Jay trained with us as a tow truck driver right after high school. He was young at the time for us to even consider hiring him for the position but after a brief interview, it was easy to see he was no ordinary kid and didn’t even come close to acting or speaking like one. He quickly learned how to master not only a tow truck but also every customer and every aspect of the road service industry. He took people that had their cars towed for being illegally parked and had them coming in for oil changes next week. He was our go to guy with all the difficult calls. If there was a problem whether it is with the car or the customer, Jay got the call and handled it with ease. Jay left us after a few years to pursue other interests but he always kept in touch. Even though he always checked in and offered to help if we needed, we were never quite able to replace his caliber of driver. One-morning years later, I received a call from Jay asking me if we had openings. He said he just had a new baby and needed reliable and steady income for the family. He said RJT was always home for him, he said it was his roots. He thanked me for being tough on him and for his prior training, he said he always reflected on it no matter what it was he was doing. Well, God works in mysterious ways because we needed Jay, just as much as he needed us. In two days it was like he never left. Just like old days, he greeted me every morning with a handshake and a smile. When he had nothing to do, he was by my side looking for an assignment. He didn't like hanging around wasting time. He was a no bullshit, production guy, a get the job done, bosses dream and he was like that everyday. One of his last assignments was to remove eight, burnt to a crisp, fire cars with melted tires, from the low clearance Wal-Mart garage. I gave him the assignment as I left and when I came in the next morning, with some help from the crew, they were all lined up in the lot. I joked with Jay that morning; I told him he forgot to put the ribbon around them. To my surprise, "he thanked me" for appreciating his work. He was just great! We now have to say goodbye to Jay once again but this time it’s forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with him, his family and especially his two children. May Your Departed Soul Rest In Peace my friend.

Tragedy struck RJT Motorist Service this past Friday night, as Junio Aridio was involved in a fatal Motorcycle accident on his way home from work. Those of you who knew Junio know he was a highly valued and dedicated member of our autobody shop staff at RJT Motorists Services. His work ethics and skills were unsurpassed. He was a gentleman with an impeccable employment record, always willing to help and we were very lucky to have him as an intricate part of our team. The very night of his tragic accident, Junio offered to stay late in an effort to finish up a car that had to go out that night. That is just one small, of the countless examples of the team player Junio was. No matter how big or small the assignment he never said no. His talented hands repaired mangled vehicles that were sometimes beyond repair and the final products were perfect. His family was always #1 and his job was always #2. Junio is pictured here during our 2017 annual summer RJT fishing trip. There are no words to describe the loss and sadness we are all experiencing at RJT. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during the very difficult days ahead. Rest in peace our friend!
