Stopped by here after searching for coffee shops on Zappenin app
I decided to stop here and grab a coffee & pastry instead of running to Panera and Starbucks. The coffee was good and the pastry as well. I watched a couple of customers walk in who the barista/owner knew by name and also knew their orders from memory. That's cool. In fact every other customer who was here was a regular.
The shop is eclectic-- not a shop that is crushing it in terms of sales-- but serving the locals well. I'd imagine it is pretty tough being a small independently run shop with all of the big chains around, but they seem to have carved out a niche.
I give this place 5 stars for what they stand for & that the coffee & pastry were quite good. I will definitely be back. It is right on my way to the girls' school and this is the kind of place I like to give my business to.
