We buy meat and eggs from OMC at the Granville Farmers Market
We started buying meat (chicken breasts, hamburger, steaks) from OMC via the Farmer's Market in Granville. Before doing so, the farmer's market was more of a novelty for our family-- we'd pick up odds and ends but purchased most from the grocery store. After buying OMC meats, the contrast to the grocery was profound, and we started buying from them each week whenever possible. We could actually see our grocery store bill going down as we shifted meat & egg purchases to OMC.
What we noticed the most was that the flavor, texture and overall appearance of OMC's meats was superior. It made what we purchased at the grocery seem substandard. Everyone in our family noticed. Once you've had this improvement in quality, it makes it really hard to go back.
OMC's prices are very similar to the grocery-- actually sometimes cheaper.
OMC was not present in Granville farmer's markets in the winter months so that was a bummer. You can place orders online, though we have not tried this yet. (You can place them ahead of time to be picked up at the Farmer's Market in Spring-Fall months as well.)
