Silence, stars, nature: We need time away from the grind. But one day isn't enough. Two is better. Three is best. #LetsCamp

REI shared Hike it Baby's photo.
River hair and just don't care! What I love most about getting into nature for a week or so at a time like this recent trip down the John Day is how free I feel from the conventional norm. I don't worry about showers, how crazy my hair gets, if you can see my wrinkles or baby belly pooch. I feel beautiful and confident. I want to bottle that feeling up and bring it home and give it to every woman around me. This is probably what drives me to convince so many women to get out there and adventure with me. A few weeks ago I had that chance when I took my single Hike it Baby mama friend camping with our 4 year olds. Her daughter had never slept in a tent because @yoginihood was nervous about how to set up a tent alone. We slept under the stars and brushed our teeth next to a creek that next morning with big smiles on our faces. It was just that easy. This is what matters most in life and it's so easy to forget. @REI #ForceOfNature #sponsored #HikeitBaby -- Shanti Hodges, Founder of Hike it Baby
