An interesting article tonight... we’ve tried hard to help all who have called this week. We prioritized calls by who was in the most danger, postponed those that could wait till next week when the weather is expected to break (thanks to all for understanding and your willingness to wait) and did our best to get to those in dire need We too are a small shop and look forward to warmer days ahead. Stay safe this weekend.
With plumbers in short supply, and frozen pipes in long supply, homeowners are getting panicky.

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow... remember to clear a path to your oil fill, air intake and vent for heat and water systems and dryer vents when shoveling to keep loved ones safe.

Until Monday (by MCDONNELL PLUMBING) We will not turn the thermostat down until Monday... We will keep the water in our faucets running at a slow stream until Monday... We will keep vanity and cabinet doors that conceal plumbing ajar until Monday... We will check on neighbors and friends to make sure all are safe until Monday... Right now forecast says Monday will be nearly 40. Epic heat wave and pipe burst/thaw day. Till then, follow rules above and you may be winning on Monday!

It’s been a crazy end to 2017! Lots of frozen pipes and no heat calls this week. Please keep your heat up. Next few days the temperature (not setting) should be about 70. Leave faucets even on inside walls dripping to keep water and drain lines operational. If you notice a change and slow down of speed, turn thermostats up higher to keep water flowing. Thanks for supporting us this year. Stay safe and enjoy the new year celebrations!

As we all prepare to ring in the new year, our simple request for family safety, especially in extreme cold situations like we are currently experiencing is that you take the $8 and 10 minutes it takes to change the batteries in your carbon monoxide detectors and save a life in the process. Its a silent killer and you don't want to be its next victim.
