Newfield is located in the Finger Lakes Region of Central New York. The town is best known for its Covered Bridge, built in 1853. It is the oldest Covered Bridge still in daily use in New York State. It is a pleasant rural town with an unincorporated village. There are about 200 small businesses in the town, many of them home-based. The village is quiet and peaceful, with a number of historical buildings along Main Street, within easy walking distance of the covered bridge. With beautiful parks and gardens, Newfield is one of the hidden gems of the Finger Lakes area.
