Jim Neeser, business developer, Davey Resource Group, receives a Partners in Excellence Award from the Utility Arborist Association (UAA) on behalf of the Davey Company. The PiNE Award is bestowed to recognize and honor companies that have supported the UAA. Riding her bicycle 100 miles along the Pacific Ocean was not originally part of Anne Fenkner’s, project developer, Davey Resource Group, plan while in San Diego for the Western Chapter International Society of Arboriculture Conference. But, a colleague convinced her to bring her bike and participate in the Britton Fund Ride as part of “Team Davey.” Fenkner raised $1,575 for the fund and was one of the top fundraising individuals. “It was a wonderful opportunity to see this beautiful country of ours, raise funds for urban forestry and meet and re-meet friends,” Fenkner said.
