With heavy snow expected to fall across New England, landscaping companies that had been gearing up for spring cleaning are reattaching those plows and getting ready for what could be a 36-hour shift.

Travel Alert: Major Winter Storm on Tuesday Near blizzard conditions are predicted for several hours on Tuesday as a mid-March winter storm ("Stella") passes through New Hampshire. Forecasted snow totals vary, but the numbers continue to creep up, to at least in the 12" to 18" range. Snowfall rates may be 2" to 3" an hour from late morning well into the afternoon with strong winds creating limited visibility with blowing and drifting snow. Driving conditions are expected to be very difficult. (WBZ graphic)
