This week there is an emphasis going on for the SLOW DOWN MOVE OVER Law. This Law includes ALL emergency vehicles (Police, Fire, Medical, Towtrucks, & DOT) when working the shoulders of the roadways. It is a NONE reducible fine and will go on your driving record....

The National Weather Service has issued a heavy rainfall outlook for Western Washington starting the evening of Monday, Oct. 16, and extending through the weekend. During a heavy rain event the City of Tacoma’s stormwater system could get overwhelmed and some city streets and low areas could flood.
