Phase two of implosion - Riverton Unit 8 came down at 6 p.m.

Retired coal units, originally installed at the Riverton Power Plant in the 1950's, were brought down today in two phases. The 175' stack and Unit 7 came down just after 8 a.m. and Unit 8 came down about 6 p.m. Thank you to all those involved in completing the project safely and to our video providers, Fred Talbot, Brad Collins, Joe Plummer, KCOM and Dykon.
