Located within Shenandoah National Park, Doyles River Falls contains two sets of waterfalls – upper and lower falls – that can be accessed with a hike just over three miles long. Once there, you’ll find cascades, like the ones IG's rosieladyblue captured here, wading pools, and even a nearby campground. If you’ve ever been to this national park, did you hike this trail? Describe your adventure below!

Standing just 1,160 feet tall, Maine’s Chick Hill – labeled on maps as Peaked Mountain – requires just a short hike to the top through somewhat rocky terrain. Once at the granite summit, you can see as far away as Acadia’s Mt. Desert Island and the Penobscot River. For those who’ve hiked New England’s shorter peaks, have you been to this one? Tell us about your hike below. |📷: IG's bradest1988

For paddlers coming to Lake Placid, kayaking along the eponymous body of water or nearby Mirror Lake is a must-do activity. If you’ve ever paddled out here, which lake was your favorite? Tell us why below! |featuring IG's lizmarchbank

For a view of Zion National Park, some, like IG's fit_fearless_me, make the hike up to Observation Point – a spot higher than Angels Landing that lets you look down into the main canyon. For those who have hiked this park, did you reach this point, and which trails did you take?

With its even flow, occasional rapids, and longer length, Oregon’s Deschutes River gives paddlers plenty of day-trip and overnight options, whether they go alone or have someone come along. For those who’ve gone out to this part of the country, have you kayaked or taken a paddleboard along this river? Tell us about your trip! | 📷: IG's kel.adventures
