Congrats Todd Cohee on the new ride! This guy waited a long time, was incredibly patient and drove some of oldest rigs we have. This was put together with him in mind and we're so happy to finally have it done!

Erin was last seen at the Girdwood Forest Fair in 1995. If you know anyone who has lived in Alaska please tag them or share this post! Erin is a relative of ours. Please Share! #forestfair #girdwood #girdwoodalaska #girdwoodforestfair

No arrests. No body. No new leads. To this day, 22 years later, there's no sign of what happened to Erin Gilbert, troopers say.
More than two decades after she vanished, Erin Gilbert's family is still desperately searching for clues — and is offering a $35,000 reward for information in her disappearance.

We received a letter recently recognizing one of our employees and we'd like to share it. Dennis Milner has been working here since February 2005 and is one of the most loyal, hard working, exemplary men of our times. We often hear the comparisons of workers today and workers of the past. To this day, Dennis is that guy. A young buck in his seventies, he can out tow you, out respect you and out story you. The traits that Dennis lives by everyday are ones to be admired and learned from. Cheers to you Dennis (The Letter) Dear Mr. Peterson, I am writing to thank you for the service we received from Dick's Towing and particularly the work of our driver, Dennis in truck 044. I seriously doubt if many of your customers are happy to need a tow truck. In this case however, for us it became a positive experience. Last Wednesday my friend and I were returning from Bellingham in my old Chevy pickup and flat car trailer. We were ironically congratulating ourselves on how successful we were in delivering our load when our water pump failed just north of Everett. We managed to get off I-5 but had to park in a difficult place to pick up the tow. Dennis arrived promptly in the middle of rush hour and immediately set to work. He was courteous and friendly but it was clear that he was there to work. He demonstrated his skill in the task in a manner that impressed both of us. In addition to our initial problem, AAA told us that towing the truck and trailer could not be accomplished on the same job. When Dennis arrived and appraised the situation he told us he could combine the work with two separate invoices. He quickly pulled my truck up on to his flatbed and hooked my trailer to his hitch. Neither of us are truck drivers, but both of us have spent many years loading and unloading freight trailers. During that time we have seen drivers that can handle difficult problems without complaint, and many more that can't. Our trip back to Seattle was a pleasant one. Both of us were grateful to share his civility and wisdom. He obviously learned to take the world as it comes, be respectful to others and remember that his first responsibility is to do a good job. The delivery of the trailer to our shop and the truck to the mechanic were not easy gets either, but by that time we knew he could do it all quickly and right. This morning while discussing the nature of the repairs, my friend rightly stated that people like Dennis are truly the ones that put our country together. It was a lesson for both of us that anger and anxiety accomplish nothing, but is best to concentrate on what is really important. We congratulate you for having him and we both feel fortunate to have met him.
