Do you have young children? Children should begin to brush and floss as soon as they can handle a toothbrush. You will need to help them brush their teeth until age 8 or 9. Supervise and assist with flossing until age 10 or 11. We can assess and help correct technique. See us today to ensure your child is able to brush and floss properly.

When do permanent teeth come in? Permanent teeth come in shortly after the first primary teeth begin to come out. The first permanent teeth are usually the first molars, between 6 and 7 years of age. The central incisors are next, around 7 to 8. Between 8 and 9, the lateral incisors come in, followed by the cuspids, ages 10 and 12, and the second molars, ages 12 to 13. The third molars (wisdom teeth) appear somewhere between the ages of 17 and 21. See us today for more information!
