Here are some photos of a home in Santa Fe that we recently helped a customer with the completion of a large interior renovation. Our scope of work included infilling of over 100 holes in the drywall that were cut to change all of the electrical wiring throughout the home, fully skim coating all of the walls and ceilings throughout to a level five smooth wall, replacing of the baseboards, installing a cased opening between the hall and office, and fully painting the home. The kiva fireplace was hand troweled with Variance Alto finish plaster, and topped with a clear coat for added durability. The paint was Benjamin Moore. The colors selected came together really well and the overall project is beautiful!

Here are some before and after photos of a home in the Embudo Hills neighborhood that we recently helped a client with an extensive makeover. In addition to fully painting the walls, ceilings, doors, and trim work throughout the home, we did quite a bit of renovation work associated with the painting. We helped them to get rid of an obsolete intercom system that ran throughout the home. We removed some dated, and failing wall covering from the kitchen, the baths, and office. We then prepared, textured, and primed in preparation for painting. We prepared, primed, and painted the cabinets to get rid of the dated white wash finish on the oak. We also added pulls to the cabinets, installed new bathroom accessories, and changed out all of the door hardware. The customer did a great job with the color and finishes that were selected. The results were fantastic.

Here are some photos of a home in the High Desert neighborhood that we recently repainted. The home has a wide molding around the windows. Unfortunately some of the window trim had gotten water damaged, and needed replacing. One of the challenging aspects of doing this type of work is making sure that you remove the old trim without causing damage to the existing stucco. So we do this type of thing with great care, and the help of a few trick we have picked up over time. To make sure that the customer will never have to worry about leaks in this area, we installed a waterproof membrane behind the new trim that self-seals when penetrated with nails. We dry fit each piece. We pre-painted all six sides before installation. The process is then finished by putting a bead of clear sealant where the trim meets the window and wall, and a final finish coat of paint. The paint for this was Benjamin Moore Aura.
