Snowmageddon 2016-2017 Dec 5 - Feb 5 63 Days Is it finally over? Let's hope so! Even if it's only a nice break for a week or two. In those 63 days, we worked round the clock responding to over 3,250 calls for assistance. Which includes but is not limited to: 1,700 Tows 900 Service Calls (jump starts, lockouts, tire changes, etc.) 450 Winch Outs There were many we couldn't help, but thousands we did. At the end of the day, we tried our best to help as many as we could as quickly and efficiently as possible. Our thanks to the everyone who waited patiently for service. Sometimes hours. Sometimes days. Our apologies to all those we let down and couldn't meet your needs. It has been quite a winter. One we'll all remember for a long time. Our hat's off to the men & women who answer the phones, dispatch the calls, drive the trucks and keep our fleet on the road. Way to go Team Orange. Well done.

Big shout out to Mike, Russell, Danny, Robert & Zack for accomplishing this amazing recovery in miserable conditions. Don't let the blue skies fool you. The temp was 16 below and the snow had iced over, freezing everything in place. Another tow company failed to recover this car hauler last week after mucking around with it for a few days. This past Sunday, the Orange Team showed up to get the job done. After lots of digging, cribbing, rigging and working together: mission accomplished! No tow needed as the driver was able to continue on his way and deliver his load of new cars just in time for Christmas. On a side note: The driver, Tom, is also to be commended for keeping his truck and trailer upright as he careened off the road and down into the ditch. THIS could have ended up so much worse if it wasn't for his skills behind the wheel. Our hat's off to you, Tom.

Even the "rescuers" need rescuing. Gotta love that "D-rating". We tow one a day for the same reason. Guess our number was up to have it happen to us. Thank you, Pape KW for getting us in and back on the road in record time yesterday. Russell & 55 back out hauling the mail today!

Winter has arrived in Central Oregon. Wild ride down that ended just short of the river. Everyone is ok, but that VW has seen better days. Nice recovery, Russell. As always, you never cease to amaze us with your skills.

Every year we relish the opportunity to provide parade transportation for our local veterans. Traditionally, we've happily donated two, sometimes three of our trucks for various organizations. This year we had riders from both the Bend Elks Lodge and COMOAA. We'd also like to thank some on our staff who have also served: --Mike Wildman, USA --Keith Anton, USCG --Joshua Ulledahl, USMC Currently serving: --Kellan Jenkins, Oregon Army National Guard And while not serving in the US armed forces, these two are also veterans: --Gernot Krause, German Army --Marco Mejia, Mexican Army
