Austin Dillon Competing For The Win at Bristol Motor Speedway, “When you go to these short tracks I think it’s really a quality investment to spend your time in the NASCAR XFINITY Series. There’s a lot that you can learn, especially as it relates to tire fall off and different things like that. I look forward to the second half of the season and the NASCAR XFINITY Series races that I will be running. I think it will help prepare me for the Cup side.”

Late-Race Incident Spoils Potential Top-10 Finish for Ben Kennedy at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, "Our No. 2 Rheem Chevrolet was good all day long, running in the top 10 for a majority of the race. We seemed to keep restarting in the worst of the two lanes, which would shove us back in the field and force us to fight for positions in some of the tougher spots on the track. I was learning a lot out there about road course racing until we got collected in one of the late-race wrecks, cutting our day short. That was a tough one. I'm looking forward to getting back in this No. 2 Chevy in a couple weeks at Road America."

Ben Kennedy Confident For First NXS Road Course Race This Season at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, “I have a few road courses under my belt in the truck series and I did fairly well in those. I never finished outside of the top 15 and even finished third in one of them. Road-course racing definitely takes most of us out of our element. If you run a full NXS season, you only race them three times a year. I’ll race two of them with RCR this season. I’ve never been to Mid-Ohio before, but I feel confident that I can pick up the tricks of the track during our two practice sessions on Friday. This No. 2 Chevy was very fast in Watkins Glen, and I know the team will bring another fast Camaro this weekend.”

Ty Dillon Fights Back from Soft Tire in Stage 2 for Top-10 Finish at Watkins Glen International, "I had a fast Rheem Chevrolet today. The balance was great all through Stages 1 and 2. I didn't want any major adjustments to the car because we were running really well. It's unfortunate that a soft right-rear tire in the last two laps of the second stage buried us in the back. I rallied as best I could and the team gave me a fuel-only stop in the final stage to gain track position. I'm glad that we were able to salvage a seventh-place finish, but we could have been looking at a top-five if we hadn't had an issue out of our control. We have certainly run into some bad luck this year, but this team has never given up and we won't start now."

Up For A Challenge As Ty Dillon Heads To Watkins Glen International, “Watkins Glen has been a challenge for me in the past. I’ve gotten good finishes, but it’s not the most comfortable road course for me. It’s certainly unique to all of the others that we go to, and, now that it’s been repaved, it’s even more important to have a fast race car when you unload. Luckily, with the MENCS race at Sonoma already under my belt, I’ve already knocked the road-course racing dust off a bit this season. Hopefully that gives me a mentality advantage over the NXS regulars that will be turning their first laps on a road-course all year.”
