Being an orthodontist is truly rewarding. Every day, I get the chance to help people attain beautiful, healthy smiles that they will have for a lifetime. But the best part of what I do is simply getting to know the people who come to see me. Throughout their treatment, I can see their confidence grow as they attain a smile they are proud of. It’s a great feeling to know I have helped the wonderful patients I am honored to serve.
Before becoming an orthodontist, I attained the following certificates of education:
BS Biology, Emory University, 1976
Doctor of Dental Surgery, Emory University, 1980
Certificate in Orthodontics, Boston University, 1983
Although I completed my formal education in 1983, I have never stopped learning. I always use the latest technology for my patients in order to ensure the most effective and comfortable treatments possible. These include SureSmile and Invisalign. SureSmile has annual software updates to keep improving their product, and I enjoy learning how each advancement will benefit my patients. As an Invisalign provider, I participate in a study club where they bring in guest speakers several times a year. I enjoy branching out to new learning experiences, and I am always looking for better methods to enable more efficient, effective and beautiful results for my patients.
As an orthodontist, my highest priority is to give a wonderful, positive experience for my patients. I have devoted 30 years to practicing orthodontics, and I love making people happy through my job. I want everyone who visits our practice to look forward to their visit, and to leave happy and smiling.
My staff is full of talented, compassionate individuals who truly care about our patients. Everyone here has been in the dental field more than 10 years, making our staff one of the most experienced in the area.
