HospiceMidland has provided compassionate care to thousands of patients and families. The vision of a few members of this community met with a tremendous amount of hard work, cooperation, and love for one’s fellow man. Our continuing commitment is to build on the needs of our patients with a life-limiting illness. HospiceMidland provides a true community of care for patients and their families as the only non-profit community-owned hospice in the Permian Basin.
HospiceMidland's care follows the patient in the home, hospital, nursing home, assisted living facility or anywhere the patient calls home with patient services available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. When medicine cannot provide a cure, HospiceMidland can diminish suffering and offer care and assistance that helps maintain a better quality of life for the patient. Our services involve treatment of physical and emotional pain and symptoms focusing on improving the patient’s comfort and quality of life. Our philosophy is that as life nears its end, every individual has the right to spend his or her remaining days in peace and with dignity. We focus specifically on comfort, dignity and pain control as we respond to the symptoms, needs and goals of the patients and their families.
HOSPICEMIDLAND is accredited by CHAP (Community Health Accreditation Program) and is a member of NHPCO (National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization), TNMHO (Texas & New Mexico Hospice Organization) and the Texas Non-Profit Hospice Alliance.
