Calvary First Assembly of God

The very first beginning of Calvary First Assembly of God was started in 1933 when a small congregation of believers began meeting in a rented storefront on Weber Avenue in downtown Stockton. In 1937, the church moved to a building on Channel and Stanislaus Streets and changed its name to Calvary Tabernacle, First Assembly of God. The name was changed to Calvary First Assembly of God in 1975 and it has been at its current location on Kelley Drive since 1984. The church has been an integral part of the City of Stockton located in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley in Central California. Mirroring the diversity and energy of Stockton, the people of Calvary First Assembly of God are a multi-generational, multi-cultural congregation committed to loving God, loving people and serving our world.
