Dan Browning, President and CEO) started his business as Metal Masters, in Boaz, AL in 1989. It became Browning Enterprise, Inc. in 1995, when Dan purchased the historic Attalla Pipe & Foundry Co., in Attalla, AL.
One of his first employees was his brother Joe; who is still a foreman here and leads the men that work in "Joe's Building." Two of Dan's three other brothers, Bill and Bobby, are also front men here at BEI. Dan's three sons; Jonathan, Benjamin and Samuel are all foremen here. Benjamin is one of our lead Engineers. "The Boys" are also co-owners with their father. The whole family was basically raised in the steel industry. Dan's father, the late Jim Browning, was also a steel man himself. These men know and love what they do, they've literally lived it their entire lives.
