Urban K9

Urban K9 has been in business since June 18, 2007. We are a small, family-owned and operated, Full-Service Pet Hotel. Our staff is affectionate and caring and has experience with small, bully and giant breeds. We make sure every dog in our care gets individual attention and play time. We strive to make our customers and guests happy.

We offer a clean and friendly environment for your dog. We have a controlled environment which is both heated in winter and cooled in summer.

We have a securely fenced yard and two indoor play areas to ensure everyone gets time to play and stretch their legs.

We are contracted with both Desert Vet and Chaparral Vet for emergency services. We are fully insured by Farmers Insurance.

We have short and long-term boarding, doggie daycare, and grooming. Drop-off and Pick-up times can be adjusted around your schedule for a small additional fee. We also offer doggie play time every day (with owners' permission), and will work with your dog on socialization skills if needed.

Our staff is trained on administering medications, including insulin shots if needed.

The owner/manager has 40+ years of dog-owning experience, has been active in dog (and cat) rescue for 30 years, and is very knowledgeable about dog health and proper care.

Our entire building is swept and mopped and disinfected on a daily basis to help ensure the well being of our guests. All kennels are swept and mopped twice a day. Any bedding brought in is washed prior to pick up. All kennels are provided a Kuranda Cot . We do everything we can to make your pets stay a pleasant and happy one.

Our yard is disinfected on a daily basis to help maintain a safe environment for your pet.
