Starting August 1, 2017: Eight CE hours required to renew an active license! All active renewal applications received in the BCE office or completed online after July 31, 2017 must certify completion of *eight* hours of continuing education: the four-hour Core course (safety, infection control, laws and rules) and a four-hour Professional Practice course. The new Professional Practice courses cover a wide variety of topics, from product chemistry to business management, so you can choose which one interests you most. All CE courses must be pre-approved by the BCE. For a list of these courses, visit www.bceboard.state.mn.us. CE courses are not required for inactive or retired licenses. Have questions? We’re here to help! Visit the Practitioner License Renewals FAQ page on the BCE website for answers to frequently asked renewal questions.
