South Carolina Railroad Museum owns and operates the Rockton Rion and Western Railroad, South Carolina's only tourist railroad. Nearly all our operating revenues are from ticket sales, and the SCRM is a non-profit, all volunteer organization. We operate excursion trains over 5 miles of former Rockton & Rion railroad right-of-way for the purpose of preserving and promoting railroad history in South Carolina.
