We were the first independent laboratory in southeastern North Carolina to be accredited by the College of American Pathologists. The accreditation process requires that the laboratory meet very strict standards in laboratory reporting, specimen processing, safety, and other laboratory processes.
We believe that waiting for weeks for biopsy results is unacceptable. In the vast majority of cases, we are able to render a diagnosis within 24 hours.
