LCPH provides a wide array of individual services, community outreach, and local disease surveillance. Here's a run through of services we can provide or give you additional information about: Vaccinations; sexually transmitted disease (STD) and HIV testing; tuberculosis (TB) case management; school & work physicals; follow-up on communicable diseases; breast & cervical cancer screenings (for those who qualify); colon cancer FIT tests (for those who qualify); technical assistance for creating healthy policies (for worksites, organizations, and communities); community health education (obesity, nutrition, sexual health, tobacco, drugs, food safety, healthy relationships, etc.); food safety inspections; well and septic system permits and inspections; hotel and pool inspections; tanning and tattoo inspections; air quality issues such as open burning permits, factory and car emission regulation; indoor air and home inspections (lead, asthma, mold, etc.); laboratory services for water quality and clinical services; community disaster preparedness; and the organization and implementation of Linn County's Community Health Needs Assessment & Health Improvement Plan (CHNA-HIP).
