There is a God and He cares more deeply than we can imagine. We believe He revealed this about Himself in the Bible.
Some think the Bible lacks
Some see the Bible as a collection of "impossible" stories that lack credibility - like Jesus rising from the dead. Some think the Bible has good moral lessons here and there, but shouldn’t be taken literally. Others simply see the Bible as a rescue manual for life’s tough times - a guide to consult to make decisions or get through a crisis.
We believe the
The Bible is how God tells us who He is and what He has done for us. The Bible is God’s Word and is completely and fully true. That is why we believe the Bible has authority over what we think, say, and do.
The Bible tells us what is
The Bible also has one, overarching story that is the best news we human beings can ever hear. It is the story of how God created us and our world. How we rebelled against Him and brought death upon ourselves. How He had compassion on us and sent His only Son, Jesus – fully God and fully man, to live a perfect life, die an undeserved death in our place to pay the penalty for our sins, and then rose from the dead claiming victory over sin and death for all who trust in Him. God continues to restore people to Himself and exalt Jesus through His Holy Spirit living within His people, the church.
Jesus is the
In sum, the story of God's work and purpose in human history is centered on Jesus. We are all a part of this incredible story and our personal stories will ultimately be determined by what we do with Him.
