Lab Chat: A Sea Creature’s Secret to Regeneration The New York Times Science Section picked up our story about Prof. Kinneret Keren’s research about the amazing regeneration abilities of small sea creatures called hydras. The fascinating findings could offer new clues about human tissue growth. The article appeared in the Times print edition yesterday.
A protein scaffold in the body of the hydra, a tiny predator, helps it regenerate a whole animal from even a small piece.

American Technion Society added 32 new photos to the album: Celebrating the Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute Class of 2017!
Yesterday the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. הטכניון and Cornell University honored the 2017 graduates of the Joan & Irwin Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute at Cornell Tech. These 27 incredible students include the first-ever graduating class of Health Tech students and the second graduating class of Connective Media students. They are also the last Jacobs Institute graduates to call our the Google building in Chelsea home, as the new Cornell Tech campus (home of the Jacobs Institute) opens on Roosevelt Island in September. We are so proud of these brilliant future innovators, who will help bring Israeli innovation to America! #TechnionNYC
