Owen Dental Care has been offering comprehensive dental services to the Chadron area over the past 35 years. The business that Terry and Brenda Owen opened on August 1, 1978 has become a family tradition. All three of their children followed in their Dad’s footsteps and graduated from the University of Nebraska Dental School pursuing different careers in the dental field. Owen Dental Care is now proud to include Zachary, Lacey, and Jonathan in its operations. Zachary is an Oral Surgeon who practices in Loveland, Colorado. He is seeing patients several days each month in Chadron. He provides sedation while extracting wisdom teeth or full mouth extractions for dentures. Zach also brings his skills in placing implants to Owen Dental Care. Lacey, a dental hygienist, has worked for her dad since January 2007. Most recently, Jonathan joined the practice in 2009 as a General Dentist. He and his wife, Kimmi, have two boys, Jackson and Levi, and daughter, Reese. Along with complete family dentistry and oral surgery, Owen Dental Care is proud to announce Dr. Chad Meyer, an orthodontist from Rapid City, is also treating orthodontic patients in their office.

In addition to the skills of the Owen family, patients at Owen Dental Care benefit from experienced staff members: Chrystal Brooks, Cristina Hughes, Jan Schenbeck, Melony Jenkins, Joni Behrends, Kalynn Fenn, and Shelbie Rose. Drs. Terry, Zachary, and Jonathan feel fortunate to have a skilled staff to help them continue the quality tradition of “Caring Hands Creating Confident Smiles”!
