Nancy Hoff Barsotti Interior Design added an event.
Getting through this winter has been an ordeal for everyone. I think we have all been a little “bear-like” and have been hibernating in our snow and ice covered caves. What keeps me motivated though is the prospect of upcoming events and projects. As an avid collector of antiques, I travel to many shows and auctions. But my very favorite one is the Oglebay Antique Show and Sale in nearby Wheeling, West Virginia. This year the event will be held on April 5 and 6. What makes this my favorite show? The high quality dealers, the variety of items and the wide price range. Literally, there is something for everyone. The dealers are also very knowledgeable, not at all “stuffy” and are willing to share information on anything that catches your eye. Also, you should visit the nearby Glass Museum. It includes a history of all periods of West Virginia glass design and the pieces are beautifully displayed. Even if you just want to look, I guarantee you will enjoy the easy drive to the Oglebay Institute and the beautiful scenery surrounding the lodge.
