Alpharetta International Academy is a private, non-profit Montessori school for children ages 18 months through 5th grade. We are committed to providing the highest quality education for our students. Our wonderfully diverse teachers love children, are passionate about teaching and are all Montessori certified. Teachers participate in professional development on a regular basis and attend national Montessori conferences for continuing education. Dixie Oliver, our Founding Director, began her career as an Associate Montessori Internationale (AMI) teacher in 1979. She has been a leader in the Montessori community for over 25 years, helping to start Montessori schools and train teachers around the world.
