Recognizing that social media and the Crazy Horse Memorial website are valuable tools to be used for communication and education, the Crazy Horse Memorial Foundation regularly posts content to both its social media pages and its website. The website and social media pages enable the Foundation to share information with visitors about a variety of topics -- progress on the mountain carving, event information and schedules, The Indian Museum of North America, The Indian University of North America, and other ongoing humanitarian initiatives and outreach efforts of the Foundation. Furthermore, the website and social media pages allow the Foundation to provide a variety of educational resources to visitors wishing to learn about American Indians and Crazy Horse Memorial.
Finally, in keeping with the overarching philosophy of the Foundation, much of the content posted to both the website and social media pages is designed to foster dialogue between peoples and serve as a catalyst for reconciliation, which is grounded in cross-cultural communication. Accordingly, CHMF respects and welcomes all opinions and perspectives. CHMF asks that all comments and postings to the Foundation’s social media pages be appropriate and respectful.
