SEPM Volume 15, No 1, March 2017 states that the discovery of the Lula Field by Petrobras and partners in 2006 opened a new E&P frontier in #Brazil, the Barremian/Aptian pre-salt play in the offshore Santos and #Camposbasin. Several multi-billion-barrels discoveries have been made in carbonate reservoirs in the pre-salt sequences of these two producing Brazilian basins and their African counterparts. These recent Santos and Campos basin discoveries, after appraisal, are expected to add at least 10 Bboe to Brazilian proved reserves by 2022 (from ANP, 2014). Brazil will include the Campos Basin blocks in #offshore Sector SC-AP3 in the upcoming Exploration Bid Round 14. Most of the blocks within Sector AP-3 are covered by the TGS Olho de Boi 3D multi-client #survey, with a surface area of 5,768 km2. The data was acquired by Dolphin Geophysical in 2013/2014 and processing was completed by TGS in 2015. Pre-stack time (Kirchhoff PSTM), Pre-stack depth (TTI Kirchhoff PSDM & TTI RTM PSDM) and TGS/WG 2d TTI #depthmigration products are currently available for license.
