Founded in 1929, the Episcopal Church in Lombard began as the Church of the Epiphany – celebrating the light of God revealed in the world. When we took the name Calvary in 1942, we reminded ourselves that God’s love is shown in the darkest and most difficult times and places. Today, the congregation of Calvary has the core values of light and love, reaching out to care for those in the dark and difficult places of life, and sharing light and life, laughter and joy in our relationships with one another and our worship.
