National Adult Day Services Week honors the beneficial services offered at adult day centers to enhance the lives of seniors and overwhelmed caregivers. The third complete week of September was set aside by former President Ronald Reagan to raise awareness of the availability and accessibility of adult day programs nationwide.

The Angel Foundation grants wishes to adults throughout Ohio who have a life-limiting illness. It is affiliated with CHP but supported separately through private donations and United Way of Van Wert County funding. The Angel Foundation worked together with local businesses to make this trip possible for the Michael Chesbro family from Convoy, Oh.
