Farragut Presbyterian Church was chartered in 1985, when Heritage Presbyterian Church and Church of the Covenant merged. These two churches served as a symbol of the merger of the Presbyterian Church of the and the United Presbyterian Church (USA).
Farragut Presbyterian Church, like the town of Farragut, is vibrant and growing. In 1988, a fellowship hall, kitchen and several classrooms were added to the original structure built in 1980. In 1998, construction was started on a very attractive new sanctuary building and badly needed additional parking. The new sanctuary was completed in March, 1999.
We are a community discovering the will of God for our lives and our world. We serve God by caring for one another and through service to others. Our mission is to be faithful to God's teachings through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our ministry is to tell the story of Jesus who sought to embrace all people as God's children -- calling us all to repent, forgive and believe in God's reconciling love.
