Bill moved to Vail in 1973 after graduating from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Architecture. After working as a design architect for two local firms and two years as the Building/Planning Official for the Town of Vail, Bill started his own firm in 1978. Bill’s career in Vail has included the design and administration of many of Vail’s favorite landmarks including the Tyrolean Inn, Ford Park Tennis Center, La Tour and Mirabelle Restaurants, Avon and Bighorn Fire Stations and numerous luxury residences. Bill has a strong commitment to the community and has held several community service positions, including Chairman of the Avon Planning and Zoning Commission. He currently serves on the Town of Vail’s Planning and Environmental Commission.
