Founded by Chairman of the Board, Bill Popp, the MMFF is led by an all volunteer Board of Directors; MG (Ret.) Jon Trost, Tom Lyons, Tom Jenkins, Sue Kennedy, Dennis Angel, Jim Carey, Jason Burley, BG (Ret.) David Hamlar, R. Tim McElroy and Executive Director BG (Ret.) Tim Kennedy.
The MMFF seeks funds to financially support Minnesota military personnel and their families with financial grants during times of extraordinary hardship.
The MMFF is a community-supported fund founded in November 2004. Contributions are made by people who understand that there are many sacrifices that military families make and want to help soften the extraordinary financial hardships that may occur when a family member is deployed by providing a financial safety net.
