DLK Enterprises is your one stop shop for your student housing needs! We have been serving the community and students of Whitewater for over 60 years and have loved every minute of it.
We know that housing can be a stressful part of a student's college life and we want to make it easier.

How does DLK make it easier you ask?
-With properties close to campus to make the walking commute less of a hassle (winters are harsh, we know)
-Most utilities included in the rent so less monthly payments to worry about (water is included at all properties, and most have internet and heat included)
-Transparency is important to us so we make sure to show potential tenants the EXACT unit they would be moving into and signing a lease for so there are no surprises later.
-By offering scholarships because we find it is important to recognize our tenants who are actively involved in the community and campus.
-Having a full time licensed maintenance staff to help get maintenance issue resolved in a timely manner
-We take care of snow removal and lawn care so no need to worry about shoveling in the cold winters or needing to purchase a lawn mower.

We want to make the renting process as smooth as possible for all tenants. Below you will find more basic information about DLK and if you have anymore questions, always feel free to give us a call!

RENT:
To keep rent prices low, we have semester based payments (3 times a year) so there is no need to worry every month about missing a payment date during the hectic times of the year! We do allow extensions for students who choose to use financial aid to assist with the housing costs.

PARKING:
We do require parking permits since most our properties are so close to campus, but the good news is by requiring them keeps unwanted cars out of our lots to ensure space for our tenants who purchase permits. Permits are sold individually for summer, fall and spring semesters and are required at all times. If you have visitors coming- you can purchase an overnight pass ($5) or a week pass ($10) for your guest. (Parking lot where they can park may vary depending where we have spaces available) If our office is closed- gas stations in town sell the week passes as well, but only for the specified lots on them. Always be sure to properly display your permit and be parked in the correct lot because towing fees are not a gamble we suggest you take!

COMMUNICATION:
We believe it is important to stay in contact with our tenants beyond the 3 times a year rent is paid, so we make that effort to do so. We send a bill before rent is due each semester (sometimes a good reminder) and also provide written updates/reminders throughout the time of the lease in the buildings and occasionally through email.
