3 Margaritas Restaurant is a reflection of the success of the immigrant dream. Born from a need for adaptation in a new country and a passion for Mexican cuisine, the Morales brothers invested all of their savings in their first restaurant, Las Margaritas—a six table place in Seattle. After a difficult first few months, the Seattle Times paid them a visit and published a review that called Las Margaritas the “Best Mexican restaurant in the state.” From this, came a flood of new business and success. The Morales brothers opened 15 restaurants in Washington State, which were then sold to previous employees. After their success in Washington, the 3 Margaritas chain in Colorado was born. 3 Margaritas prides itself on providing a colorful taste of Mexican-American cuisine, with a large variety of delicious menu items and a full bar! The Morales brothers now have 13 restaurants, with some partnerships with friends, family, & employees. After living in the United States for 27 years and developing two chains of Mexican restaurants, Nicolas Morales is now a mayor in his hometown Cuatla, in the state of Jalisco Mexico. His agenda is ambitious: to change the very conditions-lack of jobs, education and opportunity-that made him cross the border to the United States when he was 17. We are immensely proud of our journey to the states & prouder of the legacy we’ve created, serving authentic Mexican cuisine to such a wonderful community. ¡Salud!
