CMS is divided into three primary divisions - Youth Development, Family Strength Building and Mediation Services. Our Youth Development Division is based on successful models we have created to address at-risk youth. In our Family Strength Building Division, CMS works with families who experience crisis and conflict that can lead to foster care placement and/or custody/visitation issues. The programs in this division strive to keep families together and functioning as productive members of their communities. Through our Mediation Services Division CMS operates programs that complement programs in other divisions and are of benefit to the community at large.
The guiding principles in every program are inculcating self-sufficiency, conflict management skills and developing personal and civic responsibility. The programs are designed to interact with each other, to provide a seamless delivery system that is efficient and effective.
