Mahoney Foundries, Inc. was purchased and incorporated on November 2, 1973 in the state of Indiana for the purpose of operating as an aluminum foundry in Kendallville, Indiana. On April 18, 1987 the company purchased Vermont Foundry Company, a brass foundry, in Vermont, Illinois, which was made a division of Mahoney Foundries, Inc. As the market began to demand finished parts, a decision was made to launch a machine shop. This division is capable of machining both aluminum and brass castings. In 1991, the capital was secured and Machining was founded.
