Established in 1994, The Learning and Loving Education Center provides adult immigrant women literacy services, and courses in basic math, computer,and health. GED, sewing, knitting and even yoga classes are also offered. On-site preschool is offered for students children. The majority of the women who come to the Center are Spanish speaking and hail from Central and South America, as well as Africa, India, China and the Middle East. Director Christa Hanson: "Educating one woman creates a ripple effect, improving not only the students' life, but also that of her family and community."
