THE FAMILY THERAPY CENTER specializes in all aspects of couples and marriage counseling. In particular, we focus on fostering better communications, cross-cultural counseling, and on a "relationship-focused therapy." SANDY MALAWER, LPC, LMFT, is the Director of the Center. She is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia. She was appointed by Virginia Governor Tim Kaine to seve on the Virginia Board of Counseling in Richmond, Virginia.
