Dr. Hamilton graduated magna cum laude from the honor’s program at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. While there, he was accepted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical school honor society. After graduating, Dr. Hamilton was chief resident during his diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. From there, he headed to Dallas to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center to complete his vascular and interventional radiology fellowship.
Upon completion of his training, Dr. Hamilton returned to his hometown of Houston in 1999 where he practiced at Memorial Radiology Associates as both a diagnostic and interventional radiologist. His dream of opening Houston’s first outpatient interventional radiology and interventional oncology practice became a reality in March 2010 with the opening of the Hamilton Institute and the Hamilton Vein Center in Sugar Land.
