The general manager, Carl Baloney, Sr., was originally introduced to the funeral business through his father, Earl Baloney, Sr., who attended the nation’s oldest school of its kind, Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, graduating with honors in 1947 with a degree in Embalming and Funeral Service. Following graduation, Earl, Sr. worked as a licensed embalmer and insurance salesman at a local mortuary until he opened Earl Baloney & Sons Mortuary in 1957. Following in his footsteps were his two sons, Earl Baloney, Jr. and Carl Baloney, Sr., who graduated from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science with honors. Earl, Jr. graduated in 1963 and Carl graduated in 1965.
