Nestled in the foothills of the eastern slope of the Cascade Mountains, Cashmere is in the geographic center of Washington state.

Surrounded by state and national forests, our location between Wenatchee and Leavenworth beckons visitors of all persuasions. Orchards line the hills and banks of the Wenatchee River as it winds through the valley, providing a spectacular blanket of color throughout the growing season.

Cashmere is small-town living at its best. Visitors enjoy a multitude of activities and opportunities for fun and adventure that abound here. We are home to Liberty Orchards and its Aplets and Cotlets candy treats. Visitors also come for the community’s wine-tasting rooms and antique malls, while outdoor adventurers are drawn to the mountain biking at Devil’s Gulch and whitewater rating on the Wenatchee River.

Our annual Founders' Days celebration is the last full weekend in June. The Wenatchee River Bluegrass Festival also is held every June. Cashmere is the site of the Chelan County Fair, held annually the second week of September. And the Cashmere Museum and Pioneer Village, where you can wander through original pioneer structures, has its annual Apple Days festival the first weekend of October.

Founded April 23, 1924, the Cashmere Chamber's involvement in the community stretches nearly back to the founding days of this century-old community. The Chamber works hard with its local partners to promote the new and existing businesses here as well as the community it is so proud of.
